10&10,000 Change Challenge

What is the 10&10,000 Change Challenge?
The 10&10,000 Change Challenge is a free program designed to help you progress gradually through 4 stages of lifestyle transformation over 100 days to meet recommended diet and physical activity guidelines.
Upon completion of all 4 stages, you will have developed the skills necessary to walk 10,000 steps per day and consume 10 servings of fruits and vegetables per day.
Skills are introduced through tip tasks completed at each stage that help you overcome barriers and determine your strengths.

How do I join the 10&10,000 Change Challenge program?
Please follow these steps:
- Create or log into your Howdy Health account here: https://howdyhealth.tamu.edu
- Click the Dashboard button under the 10&10,000 Challenge section
- Click the 'Join 10&10,000' button
- Complete the join form and submit it to complete enrollment
- Return to the 10&10,000 Dashboard to begin: https://howdyhealth.org/programs/10-10000
When does the 100-day program start?
The 10&10,000 Change Challenge program begins on the date you join the program.
You have 100 days to complete the 4 stages of the program with day 1 being the date you join the program.
Is there a phone app available for 10-10,000 Challenge program?
While there isn't a standalone phone app available for download in the app stores, you can easily add a Howdy Health 10-10,000 icon to your phone's home screen in seconds. This will allow you to quickly access the website's dashboard, enter your program data, etc.
Please follow these instructions based on the type of device you own:
For iPhones…
1) On your iPhone's web browser, login to your Howdy Health account by going to: https://howdyhealth.org/programs/login-10-10000
If you are already logged in, open the dashboard: https://howdyhealth.org/programs/10-10000
2) Click the 'Share' icon at the bottom which is the box with an arrow pointing up
3) Scroll through the share options and tap on 'Add to Home Screen'
4) Click the 'Add' button in the top right corner
5) Tap the 10&10,000 icon on the home screen to access the dashboard
For Android Phones…
1) On your Android phone's web browser, login to your Howdy Health account by going to: https://howdyhealth.org/programs/login-10-10000
If you are already logged in, open the dashboard: https://howdyhealth.org/programs/10-10000
2) Click the 3 dot icon in the top right corner
3) Select the option 'Add to Home Screen'
4) Tap the 10&10,000 icon on the home screen to access the dashboard
For Samsung Phones…
1) On your Samsung phone's web browser, login to your Howdy Health account by going to: https://howdyhealth.org/programs/login-10-10000
If you are already logged in, open the dashboard: https://howdyhealth.org/programs/10-10000
2) Click the 3 line "hamburger menu" at the bottom right corner
3) Select the option '+ Add page to'
4) Select 'Home screen'
5) Tap the 10&10,000 icon on the home screen to access the dashboard
How do I advance from one stage to the next?
Each stage will have a step, fruit and vegetable, and tip task goal.
Once you have completed these goals you will automatically move on to the next stage.

How do I change my password, email address, or other profile information?
If you are logged into your account, go to the menu item at the top of the page called Member. You can edit any information you entered when registering for your Howdy Health account including password, username, and email address.
If you are NOT logged into your account and can't remember your username or password, select the appropriate option underneath the login form located here:

If you do not receive an automated email response, be sure to check your junk mail or spam mail folders.
